Greetings! It’s finally autumn!!! Can you believe it? I was starting to think it would never get here. I know it’s been a while since we’ve talked, but I promise it was for a good reason. I’ve been finishing up some projects (a couple of which I’ll be telling you about in a couple of weeks) including the next book in the Phoenix Rising series. Neo-Geisha is book two in the adventures of Cage St. John and his beautiful badass librarian, Phoebe Addison. In this installment, Cage and Phoe’s new relationship is challenged by old enemies and a few personal demons that were lurking in the wings.
ICYMI, this winter I became part of the #BoroughsPublishingGroup family! After so many years of trying desperately to find a home for my paranormal espionage series, Phoenix Rising, the folks at Boroughs decided to give it a chance! I’m oh-so-excited for you guys to meet shapeshifting superspy Cage St. John and his partner and librarian Phoebe Addison. This book is a cross-genre adventure that combines elements of romance, suspense, espionage, and the paranormal. I’ve described it as James Bond meets Romancing the Stone… with vampires. And zombies. And dragons. You just have to read it to believe it!
Following a brutal act of vengeance, MI:6 agent Macijah St. John is left grieving for his slaughtered family and agrees to participate in a secret government experiment that gives him a magnificent and terrible power. Now he’s a mercenary spy that solves problems for the right price. His latest job puts him in the path of the greatest catastrophe yet—a librarian.
Phoebe Addison’s life is a disaster. Crippling debt, a non-existent social life, and being the town librarian is hardly the glamorous existence she’d always dreamed of. But when her sister Jessica, an interplanetary archeologist, gets herself involved with a psychotic billionaire bent on world domination, Phoe is about to get more excitement than she bargained for. They’re on the run with no one but each other. Totally NAKED.
COMING TO AN ONLINE BOOKSELLER NEAR YOU ON APRIL 13, 2017!! Pre-order it 3/3o!!
Hi kids! It’s been a while since we talked, but 2016 has gotten off to a busy start. But have no fear, with the dawning of springtime, the Belle is back in town. And to bring in the season, I’ve got a lovely cover reveal for a new steampunk novella that’s going live on 3/22 from Mocha Memoirs Press! I present, Heliodor by newcomer Shannon Wendtland!
Malfric sees through the eyes of the dead – literally reliving their last moments as if they were his own. This ability is highly sought and highly priced, which is why the unscrupulous Captain Finch hires him to find the murderer of a nobleman and the whereabouts of a valuable artifact.
Quantex, the able-bodied first mate of Captain Finch, quickly becomes Malfric’s foil as he demonstrates uncommon intelligence during the investigation. Together the two uncover several clues that lead them to the killer, the artifact, and the frayed end of a mysterious plot that begins to unravel the moment Malfric takes it in hand and gives it a good yank.
Sounds pretty amazing huh? I love a good adventure story! So without further ado……
Who doesn’t love a naughty holiday story? I know I do. Something about the sparkling lights of the Christmas tree, the spirit of giving, and that suggestive little twinkle in Old St. Nick’s eye just makes me long for the warm touch of that special someone. Drea Riley is back on December 1st with a continuation of her Naughty Klauses series for Mocha Memoirs Press. Her new shortie is called “It’s Christmas, Cupid!” and what a Christmas it will be! Check out this blurb…
With Nick and Jessica cooling their heels in Key West the Klaus children are tasked with running Christmas. Nothing but shenanigans could come from this arrangement. Or murder if Jaq has to spend winter babysitting the son of Cupid.
Amur new Jaq would rather kill him that speak to him. And he’d stand still and let her do it, but he’d prefer it to be Ранняя смерть/Rannyaya smert’. Or as the French say “petite mort”. He’d willingly die a thousand times as long as it was between her thighs.
Doesn’t that sound delicious? So without further ado, here’s the cover for your viewing pleasure….
Why yes! It’s finally here! After months of planning, reading stories, and basically driving all my loved ones insane, I can finally reveal the cover for the Sherlock anthology! It’s such an honor for me, as a Sherlock Holmes fangirl but also because I had the chance to work with one of my favorite people, Anne Rosario. Anne is the stupidly talented artist who rendered this beautiful cover. More importantly she put up with me and all my harebrained ideas to come up with something that’s unique and absolutely fits the tone of the book.
Coming October 27, 2015!!!
“When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”
Sherlock Holmes is one of the most recognizable characters in Western literature. Conan Doyle’s inimitable detective has been the subject of literally thousands of books, movies, television shows, plays and even songs. With the rise of the BBC series and the release of all copyrights, the beloved character has found a new life among modern audiences.
In An Improbable Truth: The Paranormal Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, 14 authors of horror and mystery have come together to create a unique anthology that sets Holmes on some of his most terrifying adventures. A pair of sisters willing to sacrifice young girls to an ancient demon for a taste of success, a sinister device that can manipulate time itself, and a madman that can raise corpses from the dead are just a few among the grisly tales that can be found within these pages.
Curl up with a warm cuppa and leave all the lights on. This is not your grandfather’s Sherlock Holmes.
Look at this list of stories! Doesn’t it sound fantastic??!!

I know, I know… I’m stalling. It’s called BUILDING THE SUSPENSE. But now, without further ado…
It’s a very exciting day here at The Southern Belle from Hell!! One of my favorite erotic authoresses is taking over the blog today to reveal the cover of her delicious new book, Wine Service. Mmmm… two of my favorite things, wine and steamy romance. So get ready for….
She offers satisfaction above and beyond what is requested.
Lexie’s job as a housekeeper at a five-star hotel doesn’t normally include the unique and risqué form of room service that important hotel guest Mr. Malena has requested, nor the generous tip he’s offered. Lexie can’t resist, and what should have been a one-time thing turns into an introduction into the sensual world of customer satisfaction. She finds much enjoyment in her “work,” but is it worth risking her job?
Zenobia Renquist is an Air Force brat turned Air Force wife. She and her husband are owned by two demanding cats of the long-haired persuasion. Born in Europe and currently stationed in Hawaii, Zenobia has been traveling all her life. “Where are you from?” is not a question she likes to be asked but will usually answer Virginia, because it’s the one place that feels like home.
Zenobia’s stories range from steamy to scorching and she writes whichever genre catches her interest at the time. When not coming up with ways to torture her characters, she enjoys knitting and crochet (both regular and Tunisian) as well as reading shoujo and yaoi manga.

I have an amazing new cover to reveal today. It’s a new cover for an old-ish book. My very first novel, Hellsong, originally came out in October of 2010. Since then, I’ve been through some changes, I’ve learned a few things and (long story short) I switched publishers on this particular labor of love. It’s coming soon from Ellora’s Cave and I am positively vibrating with anticipation for you to see it. So without further ado….
Isn’t it just… inspirational? That’s good because the book is all about an angel rescuing the demon in distress. This book is also part of the Ellora’s Cave Shivers line of erotic horror. So this edition of the book is going to really amp up the horror element. All I have to say is get ready to put this one in the freezer…
